What we process

When you paste a link, dotplays sends it to our server to find the media in that post. We keep the result in memory for up to 10 minutes so repeated requests are fast, then discard it. We do not create accounts and do not store a history of the links you download.

Our server and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keep standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and request time, used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.

Files you download

dotplays does not host the original media. Files are streamed from the source platform to your device through short-lived signed links that expire after one hour.

Cookies and advertising

We show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can manage personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

Children

dotplays is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
